Staff Development

In order to provide efficient services to the beneficiaries, the Fazlullah Foundation felt it necessary to train its own staff members. It provided a week-long basic orientation training to all staff members just to give them ideas that how to work with people in their development issue. Later, it organized 6 week professional development training i.e. management, accounting and leadership training to all staff members (week each). 2 staff members also received 1 month long specialized training on animal husbandry, health care, credit management and office administration.

Motivation for group members

The main objectives of the Fazlullah Foundation is to make people aware of their social problems, show people to live with dignity in the society, help people to improve their economic status and finally organize people to participate in all development activities, so as to contribute their efforts in the overall development of the country. the Fazlullah Foundation, so far, organized a good number of training programs of (5 day each) for its group members where motivation, social awareness building, gender issues, health care, leadership development were the subjects. Apart from the Fazlullah Foundation’s direct training input in human resource development each group has, by this time, developed considerable experience among themselves on self motivation and learning from themselves.

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

The Fazlullah Foundation, for the first time, involved itself in the economic development activities for the target people in 2001. Immediate after the flood added responsibilities had been given to the organization to undertake post flood rehabilitation activities in its activity area. Although the Fazlullah Foundation had no past experience in any economic activity but because of its local acquaintance, it had confidence that it would receive local support in any type of economic activity.

POST FLOOD RELIEF ACTIVITY

Following 2004 severe flood, 600 families provided with food (rice, pulse, potato, cooking oil, salt and ors saline) with assistance and collaboration of Canadian Relief Foundation.
